Update of bug #55325 (project octave):

Follow-up Comment #26:
To make a cleaner line, I'll rename this bug to better indicate that these
patches are to be applied onto the released version of each package as
currently used in MXE Octave.
If I correctly understand, package developers prefer dedicated bug reports for
patches of their current code base.
