Follow-up Comment #4:
It turns out that this is not that easy to fix. The fonts in the dropdown list
of a font combobox seem to ignore stylesheets When looking at other
applications that uses font selection box with a preview of the font (e.g.,
LibreOffice), the size is also larger than the general font size of the
application, at least for some of the listed fonts.
