Update of bug #55722 (project octave):
Severity: 3 - Normal => 2 - Minor
Item Group: None => Incorrect Result
Status: Need Info => Confirmed
Release: 5.0.91 => dev

Follow-up Comment #5:
This is not a duplicate of bug #54793. That bug is about the dashed line being
shown solid in the legend box (if I read it right). In this bug, the legend
has a correct dashed line but the plot line itself is not dashed. I can
reproduce this with Octave 5 and the qt toolkit using the OP's provided
script. I cannot reproduce with a minimal example yet that just plots a random
dashed line.
@vasiliy - It would be extremely helpful if you could reduce your script to a
minimal example that shows what causes this behavior. Do you agree that a
simple script like
plot (rand (100, 1), '--');
print ('foo.tex', '-dtikz');
does not demonstrate this bug?
