Follow-up Comment #6, bug #55735 (project octave):

Glad you were able to patch it for your purposes.

I can't test this patch because I don't have Qt 4 available (and this patch
isn't necessary for Qt 5), but by inspection, I don't think it's suitable to
apply to Octave for everyone as written. This patch adds QtOpenGL into the
same list with the other Qt modules, so QtOpenGL (or Qt5OpenGL) becomes a
required module. That breaks the current behavior, which treats QtOpenGL as
optional, and still builds the GUI even if the OpenGL libraries are not
installed.

But it may be useful for users who know what they are doing and have a
complete Qt 4 installation.
