Yeah, thank you for your bug report. This is a known issue, it's actually
documented in the gnuplot interface code, but not in the user manual. Gnuplot
does not support left or right triangle markers.
This could be added to the user manual as a known limitation.
If you would like to suggest a reliable way to produce these markers with
gnuplot, we are very open to patches.
