Follow-up Comment #7:

Retitling this since it really isn't about the symbolic package now.

You're the resident expert on all things macOS now, so we'll defer to you, if
you think a patch to change the font is safe and helpful, let's do that. If
you have a tested patch I'll be happy to push it to stable for you.

Since qterminal has diverged significantly, I guess it doesn't really matter
whether we try to stay as close to the orignal as possible. I'm aware of the
upstream projects, and if we ever do try to reconcile with that, maybe we
could try to link with qtermwidget as a library?
