Update of bug #56051 (project octave): Status: None => Need Info _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #1: Can you try again after running the command ignore_function_time_stamp none when Octave first starts? Your example depends on modifying system function files that come with Octave. Octave's default behavior is to ignore changes in the time stamp on its system functions, assuming that the user will not be modifying them while Octave is running. If you try your example on a function in a different directory, you should not see this behavior.
