Follow-up Comment #8, bug #56167 (project octave): I am not very experienced with what makes a bug more or less sever or important. Between a obtuse error message and a bug in the basic functionality that possibly only occurs for some specific unfortunate input but must be considered in all code written with dynamic indexing of arrays, the bread and butter of Octave.
