Details:

I have libpcre 8.32 installed, which I haven't seen any issues with so far,
but now I get this:

./run-octave --quiet
octave:1> graphics_toolkit
ans = gnuplot

octave:2> __octave_config_info__.hg_id
ans = 1c8b20731af4+

octave:2> ezplot(@sin)
error: regexprep: this version of PCRE is compiled without UTF support at
position 0 of expression
error: called from
    __ezplot__ at line 291 column 10
    ezplot at line 76 column 21
stopped in __ezplot__ at line 291
[/scratch/aburgers/octave/x86_64/../octave/scripts/plot/draw/private/__ezplot__.m]

A consequence of http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/94d490815aa8 ?
