Follow-up Comment #25, bug #49718 (project octave):

I've beaten myself ;-) (found a spell to get it built).

But no joy yet, Octave refuses to be installed, it pops up a message:
"Octave should not be installed to a destination folder containing spaces.
Please select another destination".
I knew about this but always thought it could be overridden; but alas, no.

Apart from the exact semantics (folders usually contain files or other
folders, not spaces) this is a bit unhelpful.

I know where to look (in tools/make_installscript.sh) but that is out of reach
ATM, I have to do other things now.
