Follow-up Comment #16, bug #56267 (project octave): Philip reported in bug #51632 that the paths set with the function "path" are not canonicalized. Also "rmpath" doesn't remove the canonicalized version of the path. The following patch does a better job of keeping only canonicalized paths in the list of load paths (if possible).
