@Carlo: I think it probably should be pushed, but I'll let jwe make the final
decision.
I tested the patch and it compiles fine and doesn't induce any failures in the
test suite. The performance savings were pretty minimal, 2.5%, but the
benchmark I was using (bm.toeptlitz.orig.m) might not be the most appropriate.
What I do see that is valuable is the elimination of the NoAlias class which
reduces complexity and makes for more straightforward code.
