Follow-up Comment #7, bug #57245 (project octave): I tried ./configure --without-qt and ./configure --without-qt --without-fltk In both cases, I used run-octave -f clear all plot (randn (5)) exit without problems. The '-f' option was to skip reading any initialization files in case there was a customization I had made that would influence results.
