Update of bug #57783 (project octave):
Category: Plotting => Plotting with gnuplot
Status: None => Confirmed
Summary: Propertie "edgecolor" of the fill() function and the

Follow-up Comment #1:
The gnuplot toolkit in Octave is a secondary toolkit offered for users who,
for whatever reason, can not use an OpenGl toolkit such as "qt" or "fltk".
The largest number of these users are programmers using Mac OS.
If you do have the choice, which you should on Linux, then use the "qt"
toolkit and don't bother with the gnuplot one. The gnuplot one is not as
developed, has missing features, and receives far less attention.
