Follow-up Comment #11, bug #57143 (project octave):

What about my question from comment #7?  It appears that the shell command in
Windows may be incorrectly generated.  The end of the gs.exe command is
signaled with '-', but then the temporary file name appears, and then '&' and
the next command with epstool.exe.
