Update of bug #57968 (project octave):

                  Status:                    None => Confirmed              
                 Release:                   5.2.0 => 6.0.90

Follow-up Comment #1:

Confirmed.  

I think there needs to be a little bit more digging to figure out whether it
is condest.m which is incorrectly setting up the solver function, or whether
it is the algorithm in normest1 which is calling the solver incorrectly (with
"notransp" or "transp" set to the opposite value).
