Follow-up Comment #14, bug #57902 (project octave):

Sometimes I also see this on my home PC; but it remains quite elusive.

What I see there is that when executing commands through F9, the, or some,
output from previous commands also issued through F9 is appended to the output
from code currently selected & run with F9. Sometimes Octave issues warnings
or errors, sometimes not.
It appears that it happens more often when an EOL is included in the code
(that is, I select code incl. newline at the end). OTOH larger blocks of e.g.,
a for loop execute w/o issue.

As it seems to be a line of investigation in bug #57635, I'll try downgrading
to Qscintilla < 2.11.4.

BTW why is this a "Wish"/"Feature Request" rather than a bug report? makes
little sense to me.
