Details:
Hello:
I am attempting to become a new user. On installation under Windows 10 Pro, I
get this message on start up:
"octave-gui.exe-Entry Point Not Found
X The procedure entry point ?absoluteDir@QfileInfo@@QEBA?AVQdir@@XZ could not
be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86\Dell Backup and
Recovery\Components\Shell\DBROverlaylconBackuped.dll."
This window will only close after many attempts on the "OK" and "X" buttons,
and the program is stuck until it does.
I have tried reinstalling, and the same problem results. I find no info in
FAQ. A Google search finds a few hits with this being a Qt related problem,
but no advice pertinent to Octave.
Sorry if this is not a legitimate bug for reporting. As a newbie I am a bit
stuck on interpreting it further and what to do about it.
Thanks,
Farron
