Update of bug #58604 (project octave): Status: None => Wont Fix Open/Closed: Open => Closed Summary: square function suffers on rounding error => [octave forge] (signal) square function suffers on rounding error _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #1: Thank you for the bug report. Both of your examples give the same results as Matlab and SciPy's square function. So I don't think we want to change the behavior of the function or add an option that changes the behavior. If what you want is a square wave series with only 2 samples per period or some other small integer, it's likely there are way more reliable and more efficient ways to generate that than using the square function. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?58604> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
