Follow-up Comment #5, bug #58649 (project octave):

@vasiliy: Your example is way too complicated, it would be handy if you could
reduce it to something simple, as in comment #2, and explain what you think is
wrong. 

I tried the latest version of your script in comment #4 (had to install
geometry package), printed it to .tex and compiled and I can't see anything
wrong. The position of the annotation always looks correct to me both on
screen and in printout.
