i still can't reproduce. switches are:

++
./configure CC=clang CXX=clang++
make V=1 -j12
C compiler:                    clang  -pthread  -Wall -W -Wshadow -Wformat
-Wpointer-arith -Wmissing-prototypes -Wstrict-prototypes -Wwrite-strings
-Wcast-align -Wcast-qual -g -O2
C++ compiler:                  clang++  -pthread  -Wall -W -Wshadow
-Woverloaded-virtual -Wold-style-cast -Wformat -Wpointer-arith -Wwrite-strings
-Wcast-align -Wcast-qual -g -O2
