Follow-up Comment #4, bug #59018 (project octave): I am also having unexpected crashes in the GUI. I have not used the CLI version. I am running Windows 10 Version 10.0.19041 Build 19041 with all of the latest patches since 8/26/2020. I installed with octave-5.2.0_1-w64-installer that I downloaded from the link in the Octave home page. The crashes are unpredictable, but seem to be more common when I try to print out the value of a single element in a large matrix. I can restart Octave and run the exact commands and have no problem, at least for awhile. I would say I am getting at least one to two crashs per hour of use. I have snagged the info from gdb that I will attach.
