Follow-up Comment #30, bug #49503 (project octave): Thanks. The configure script of of-sparsersb seems to execute ´sizemax() > intmax ("int32")´ in Octave to check if octave_idx_type is 64bit: https://sourceforge.net/p/octave/sparsersb/ci/default/tree/src/configure.ac (currently in line 129) There is probably a way to do that without the need to run Octave. Anyway, the attached patch adds the conditional dependency to those packages, too.
