[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #59050] [octave forge] (ocs) package incorrect

From: Markus Mützel
Subject: [Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #59050] [octave forge] (ocs) package incorrectly loads on Windows
Date: Sun, 13 Sep 2020 10:48:19 -0400 (EDT)
User-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/85.0.4183.102 Safari/537.36 Edg/85.0.564.51

Follow-up Comment #3, bug #59050 (project octave):

Thanks. The ocs package loads successfully for me with these changes.

CC'ing the package maintainer.
John's patches in MXE Octave that could probably also be applied directly:
https://hg.octave.org/mxe-octave/file/372ea4c0afb2/src/of-ocs-3-break-fixes.patch
https://hg.octave.org/mxe-octave/file/372ea4c0afb2/src/of-ocs-4-pkgadd-fixes.patch

The shadowed function warnings I get when loading the package seem to actually
stem from odepkg.

There don't seem to be any BISTs for the ocs package. So I don't know if it
actually works in Octave 6. But it definitely looks better now.
