Follow-up Comment #12, bug #59149 (project octave): I noticed something else that's odd. Please try the following: plot (s, 'b.'); axis tight; figure; plot (sr, 'r.'); axis tight The sr values in red are all clustered into 25 discrete layers, which is not the case for the raw data in s. Do you observe the same behavior? Pictures attached.
