Follow-up Comment #24, bug #59149 (project octave): I can try -O3 and combine it with the mentioned additional flags: -Ofast Disregard strict standards compliance. -Ofast enables all -O3 optimizations. It also enables optimizations that are not valid for all standard-compliant programs.
