Follow-up Comment #7, bug #59237 (project octave):

confirmation revoked!
It just seems to freeze. After about some minutes the first line appears in
the command window (exact time unknown in GUI, no interest to repeat the test,
2.5 min in CLI). It's just really slow, but it finally works. And it
definitely becomes continuously faster towards the end.
My CPU is Intel i7-8550U.
