[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #59238] load variables from file: the next sav

From: Markus Mützel
Subject: [Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #59238] load variables from file: the next saving operation produces a faulty file

Follow-up Comment #5, bug #59238 (project octave):

The default line ending on Windows is CRLF. The following example produces a
file with CRLF line ending on Windows:

A = rand(4);
save A_test.txt A -ascii

Having written that: It's also quite common to come across files with LF line
ending on Windows. Most editors (including in the meantime also the built-in
Notepad) display such files just fine.
