Details:

When running `pkg test odepkg` with Octave 6.0.91 (odepkg 0.8.5), Octave gets
stuck in what looks like an infinite loop that cannot be interrupted.
The following is repeated infinitely at the command prompt:

DASKR-- ACTION WAS TAKEN. RUN TERMINATED
DASKR-- THE LAST STEP TERMINATED WITH A NEGATIVE
DASKR-- VALUE (=I1) OF IDID AND NO APPROPRIATE
      In above message, I1 = -1

I left it running for about 10 minutes. It looks like nothing changed in that
time.
This loop cannot be interrupted. Neither with Ctrl+C, nor by trying to close
the GUI. I had to kill the process.

I'm not sure if this package is still maintained. I couldn't find it on
https://octave.sourceforge.io/packages.php .
The link to the bitbucket repository (which is supposed to be more up to date
than Octave forge) is dead:
https://wiki.octave.org/Odepkg

Should we remove the package from MXE Octave?
