It's the bug about indexing with "end" - bug #58953, cset

That is: I *think* it is this cset that ended allowing uninitialized variables
to be indexed like "variable{end+1}".

Anyway, would you look at his patch? It has been dangling here for over 5
years. Mike doesn't seem to have time or priority.
I have it in my own builds for a long time, helps me a lot when testing
packages.
This cset is meant for "regular" package installations. In mxe-octave and for
OF-package releases (the admin work) the tests are extracted differently.
