Update of bug #59432 (project octave):

                 Summary:                   Crash => Octave exits with error
code 3 for Bode plot

Follow-up Comment #15:

This doesn't look like a "normal crash". But for some reason Octave exits with
error code 3.

Might be a red herring, but according to MSDN "abort" exits a program with
error code 3 if no signal handler is set:

Could you step through the Octave code to pinpoint which command causes Octave
to exit unexpectedly?
