Follow-up Comment #5, bug #59476 (project octave):

I initially compiled OpenBlas with 

make BINARY=64

Octave crashed with 64 bit indexes in splneplot.

So, I reverted to 32bit indexes.
But, I never recompiled OpenBlas.
Could this be the source of the segmentation violation?
