Follow-up Comment #4, bug #59477 (project octave):
Imho, 7 % difference in runtime is noteworthy. Even if we adjust for the 2 %
uncertainty from the experiment with "ode15i" and assume that a similar
measurement error occurred in the experiment with "ode15s", the difference is
still significant.
I'd vote for adapting the C++ code.
