Follow-up Comment #17, bug #55667 (project octave):

I also came across this bug, while trying to port a larger Matlab application
to Octave.

Overall, it was a surprisingly smooth experience. However, the namespace
clashes mean we have to rewrite quite some part of the application, which is a
pretty big obstacle.
