Follow-up Comment #6, bug #59846 (project octave):
I can confirm that refresh() is working with fltk graphics toolkit.
The workaround with disp_freq is not needed.
I suggest to reduce graphics output in order to keep stable algorithm
performance, so graphics output will not too much slow down program
execution.
