Follow-up Comment #23, bug #59850 (project octave):

The m file is the latest version. The first patch was the first attempt at a
fast version. I modified the code of the file the first patch was created from
to make the second patch to fix the bug it introduced. I will need
instructions on how to create a patch from the original or current code.
