Follow-up Comment #14, bug #60048 (project octave):

For completeness, the relevant code to make the tarballs isn't that much, so
could (theoretically) also be invoked for nightlies that build the regular
installers with all prebuilt & installed packages by just copying it into
place.

But maybe (parts of) the code are in tools/makeinst_script.sh, which is an
NSIS installer script; I haven't looked at it for a long time.
