Follow-up Comment #4:

Changeset http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/abac1d557184 adds the
connection of the terminal's interrupt signal to the interpreter interrupt,
which got lost with the new experimental command widget.

Closing as fixed. If this doesn't fix the issue on all systems, we can reopen
the report.
