Follow-up Comment #2, bug #60889 (project octave): Thanks for your explanation. I tried again tonight and now it worked properly. So maybe Octave was confused; could that be because of previous (but later on fixed) parse errors in the same file? Nevertheless the "time stamp is in the future" message is still emitted. Maybe that's related to Windows' time stamp granularity. As to the file in question, it's just a file on the very same hard disk that Octave lives on (but on another partition; Fat32 while Octave is on an NTFS one).
