Details:
The command "pkg install -forge communication" gives the following type
conversion or casting errors for Octave 7.0.0 with gcc 11.1.0. Three of them
can be resolved with "-fpermissive" if that is appropriate -- please advise.
The dynamic cast error cannot be fixed with compiler options.
