Follow-up Comment #2, bug #60976 (project octave):

Does your script run correctly if you comment out the input() statements and
just assign values to variables?  That would be the first thing I would
check.

Since you have disp() statements fairly frequently in the code, what is the
last one that is executed before Octave appears to freeze?
