Update of bug #61138 (project octave):

                  Status:                    None => Works For Me           
             Open/Closed:                    Open => Closed                 
                 Summary: Debug prompt command whos() aborts with unexpected 
"error: indexing undefined value" => Function output cannot be directly
indexed

Thanks, the approach of comment #1 works for me.

Another alternative


[whos()].bytes


Closing.  If there is still a problem, the report can be reopened again.
