Follow-up Comment #14, bug #60322 (project octave):


I have checked the results for the new code.
Looks very good - I have checked Matlab compatibility.
I have checked uint8(imresize(double(I), factor)), and the results are the
same (if we set antialiasing as false).
Checking uint8 images gave up to 4 gray levels difference.

I would like to push this code, and:
1. Handle the antialiasing in another bug report
2. Make a few coding style corrections.

Any objections (@Harmut)?
