Details:


We are working on a new release of image package.
The release candidate works well on version 6.4.0,
but there are errors on version 7.0.90.
These errors are due to namespace change from 
octave::image to octave_image, and are treated in patch
https://hg.octave.org/mxe-octave/file/tip/src/of-image-1-namespace.patch

The question is: how can I apply this patch such that image package will
continue to compile on previous releases of Octave?
