Details:

Using the same script to produce plots on Matlab vs. Octave on Windows 10 with
a high-ish DPI display (3840 x 2160 pixels) results in legible Matlab plots
but illegible Octave plots. The Octave plots are too small to read.

Examples of the same plot produced by the two programs are given for
comparison.
