Follow-up Comment #20, bug #61788 (project octave):
I have now done (preliminary) tests with the current Octave 7.0.92 release
candidate and the current (but inofficial) image package release candidate.
Good news: "pkg test image" now eventually passes fine, at least under Linux.
Also the test code from comment #0 now gives the expected result, but that's
probably expected after John's fix.
