Update of bug #61143 (project octave):
Status: Patch Submitted => In Progress

Follow-up Comment #32:
Michael's implementation was never worked up into a patch against the octave
codebase, so no, no patch has been accepted. I'm changing the status from
Submitted to In Progress, as it was never really submitted either.
