Follow-up Comment #1, bug #62317 (project octave):

Thanks for the hint. I pushed a patch to the release branch of MXE Octave
here:
https://hg.octave.org/mxe-octave/rev/384668807160

It enables support for AVX in FFTW.

It should be part of the next minor release of Octave.
If you need it earlier or would like to test it, you could check a nightly
build from tomorrow April 17th or later:
