Follow-up Comment #4, bug #58738 (project octave):

is anyone able to recreate this bug?  using octave 6.4.0 and symbolic 2.9.0,
I'm unable to get octave to display anything other than 'xdot' or 'ẋ' when
calling xdot.  (i can't get the '(syms) x + x' output for any sypmref display
setting.)
