[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #62984] Option to set 'current line highlight

From: Torsten Lilge
Subject: [Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #62984] Option to set 'current line highlight color' for Editor has disappeared since 7.x
Date: Wed, 31 Aug 2022 15:56:33 -0400 (EDT)

Follow-up Comment #3, bug #62984 (project octave):

Removing this user preference was a deliberate action as the background color
of the current line is now "interpolated" between the background and
foreground color in order to give a reasonable color regardless the back- and
foreground color the user has selected. Obviously, it does not always lead to
a reasonable color ...

The algorithm is in interpolate_color () in gui-utils.cc (comment in
gui-utils.h
https://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/file/ad9822dedef8/libgui/src/gui-utils.h).

@Philip: Which colors do you use as background and foreground in the editor?
